Unmentionables.  We all (well, most all) wear them, but we rarely ever talk about them. They're such a part of life, it's not really an interesting subject unless you really stop to think about it. Then it becomes quite a complex issue indeed, teeming with personal preferences and opinions that make for interesting lunchroom (or journaling) conversation. [more]

Murphy's Law as it pertains to Automobiles. We just made our final payment on Hubby's car this week and no sooner than we did that, his air conditioning konked out.

Let's hope that this isn't the beginning of the methodical falling apart of Hubby's now paid off car.

Now that we don't have car payments, I guess now we'll be paying for its repairs. Go figure. I can only explain it as Murphy's Law.

The birth of a Cell.  Tonight Hubby and I attended a Bible study at Bari's house. It was her first Bible study under the leadership of herself and her cohort in the faith, Warren. There were quite a few people present to celebrate the birth of their new "cell group." As customary to any good local gathering, there was lots of food and drinks to enjoy. [more]

Laugh Loudly.  I have a Daily Thought calendar on my desk at work that a thoughtful friend gave to me for Christmas last year. I enjoy my morning ritual of flipping to the next day to read the tidbit of wisdom accompanied by a Bible verse. I liked today's thought:

Never be ashamed of laughter that's too loud or singing that's too joyful. [more]

When doves cry.  I heard him before I saw him outside. Soft footsteps just outside my window, the sound of rubber slippers on grass that's overdue for a good mowing. Walking back and forth, up to something covert and mysterious. I paid him no mind as I continued on with my work. [more]

The color of money.  $60 million fell into my lap quite miraculously. The origins are foggy, but it appears to have been gained from some sort of game of chance like a Vegas slot machine or a lottery while vacationing elsewhere (Hawaii does not have a state lottery - yet.)  [more]

Isn't it funny how the color of money is also the same color that we use to describe ENVY?

Lots o' rhetorical questions that make you go "hmm..." Interesting to ponder, though. What's your opinion? How would you handle all that money?

Computer'd Out.  I've been on the computer practically all day non-stop. I have a deadline to meet for my client with no leeway because of my upcoming travels. It must get done, even if it means sacrificing precious sleep and sanity. [more]

Hmmm, if I'm so "computer'd out" what am I doing here?!

This is a first. Must be a fluke. This never happens. I usually never break the Top 5. The week is still early, so I'm sure there will be lots of time for the regular Top 5's to overtake me in the rankings.

Well, here it is... saved for posterity, since it'll probably never happen again. ;)

I just lost an entire entry that was comprised of complaining about how curmudgeonly my Mother can be. I don't think it was an accident. What do you think?

Some things were never meant to be posted.
