Friday, January 18, 2002 Richie's in the Ricebowl! Richie made it into the Rice Bowl Journals directory before it was closed for submissions! And if you haven't yet visited the Rice Bowl Journals, what are you waiting for? Check it out now! It's the best directory for Asian journals -- as well as a place to interact with fellow Asian journalists.
I love the sound of the rain...
A blading we will go. Rollerblading is one of my long-forgotten favorite pasttimes... until yesterday. I dusted off the old skates and went rollerblading with Shari. All the details and a few pictures are posted in the entry for Thursday, January 17, 2002.
Wednesday, January 16, 2002 Late edition. I posted a couple of photos of my stamping project to tonight's entry.
Oh, my goodness...it's almost too unbelievable to fathom. Our long, lost friend Wade (my pal since Preschool and later my Prom Date!) in California sent Shari and I an e-mail yesterday. He's such a dear friend of ours, but with our busy schedules (more like his busy schedule), we rarely ever keep in touch. His e-mail messages usually start by saying, "Yes, I'm still alive!" This one was no exception. He is not only alive, but he is also doing very well. Apparently, he also reads my journal. (Hi, Wade!) I am hoping that we will be hearing more from Wade in the near future. Love ya, dearie!
Entry for Wednesday, January 16, 2002 posted.
I got a collect call from the Hubby who is currently in Seattle, Washington on a business trip. The poor guy is stuck at a casino on an Indian Reservation, waiting for his fellow managers to finish depositing their money into the slot machines. Hubby isn't the gambling sort (thank God!) and is opting to keep his money in his pocket. He's been waiting for the past two hours, twiddling his thumbs and growing more bored by the minute. The unfortunate thing is that they ended up at the Casino somewhat accidentally (they got lost) and now he's hoping that they can find their way back to the Hotel without incident. Poor Hubby. I just hope they don't end up in the wrong neighborhood, if you know what I mean...
Belated entry. Well, I made some progress with my stamping project, so I decided to give myself a break and finish my entry from last night... So here it is: entry for Tuesday, January 15, 2002.
More time off-line... Hey, let's not make this a habit, okay?
Tuesday, January 15, 2002 Too tired to post... exhaustion is overtaking me... must... sleep...
Monday, January 14, 2002 Entry for Monday, January 14, 2002 has been posted. All I can say is: Guys, be happy that you don't have to make appointments with "special" doctors...
Sunday, January 13, 2002 Entry for Sunday, January 13, 2002 has been posted. It even includes some photos ... wheeee!
Mahealani will be selling her wares at a Craft Fair in Hilo and offered to sell some of my rubber stamping creations alongside hers. I'm debating whether to do so... At least I won't be there to see folks peering curiously at my hard work, only to walk away, without giving them a second thought. I don't know if I could take the rejection.
More talk about my favorite subject: Food.... At my favorite place: Chibo!
