The last day of our stay. I woke up at 7:00 am and found that Hubby was already up and about. The early riser that he is, he wastes no time with lounging around in bed. As for me, I would rather take my time getting out of bed but since today was our last day at the Beach House, I figured that I should enjoy every remaining minute of it.

We took a walk on the beach, enjoying the solitude of the morning. I took some macro shots of debris on the sand, trying to see things from a different angle like Martin suggested. I got a few that I thought pretty neat.

Before lunch, we held our `Ulu Maika rematch. This time we had teams of 3. Kamuela joined the guys and Lucy "Mom" joined the girls. Hui the Pomeranian also wanted to play and ended up chasing the game rock and running away with it. (Got it on video, too!)

The guys won the first game, which brought us at one game each. The third game was to be the tie-breaker. It was close all the way. We were tied at 4 for a while until Fernando made the last point for the guys, resulting in a final score of 5 to 4. I knew we should've took that strategic time-out...

Before we knew it, it was time to go. We bid Uncle Jonah a fond farewell and thanked him for his hospitality, until next time!

Back to the rat race, we go.

The beach was clear and empty this morning. A beautiful atmosphere for a morning walk.

The neighbors took their Golden Retrievers out for their morning run. It was so cute seeing them frolicking in the ocean.

You see some pretty strange things washed ashore in the morning. Here's a close up of a rusted piece pipe covered in seaweed.

Another macro shot of seaweed.

Me and Kikaida Hubby on our morning walk. Here I am with no make up and wild windblown hair. My curls were out en force this weekend.

The `Ulu Maika tournament. Mahealani shows the guys how to do it with the proper technique.

My voice sounds lower than usual, at least I
don't think I usually sound like that.)
