A D&B Quickie.
On a whim, Shari and I decided to have our own little girl's night out. We headed to Dave & Busters (D&B) for some video gaming fun. Unfortunately, weekend evenings at D&B are simply insane. Tonight was no exception. Throes of people everywhere. You usually have to wait in line to play any given game.

We went for the games that actually required some physical effort: we went skiing, white water rafting, jet skiing, snowmobile racing, speedway racing and even fought fires -- virtually, of course.

We also decided to try our luck with the morphing machine again. We thought that it would be interesting to see what would happen if we morphed the two of us to make our "future child," as the machine calls it. Not that it's physically possible for Shari and I to have a son together, but heck, this is all in fun, right?

Despite the fact that it took a pretty horrible picture of me, at least the result was a pretty cute-looking little boy. Surprisingly enough, he didn't come out looking like the one that Hubby and I did. I thought maybe all of the "Asian" kids came out looking the same, but I guess there is some kind of bona fide morphing technology going on in there after all.

After our morphing experience, Shari and I decided to have our portrait sketched by Leonardo da Vinci. Okay, actually, it was another one of those machines that you sit in, takes your picture, then renders it as a sketch. Reduced by 25% here, it looks almost like a black & white photo. At 100% it actually looks more like a sketch.

It was a fun-filled evening with Shari, filled with lots of laughter and joy. Definitely a nice way to spend a Saturday evening. Thanks, Shari!   ©
